Cribbing is good.

I wonder why some people make it their business to make others miserable. Sadists!

Sometimes, they don't know they're doing it.
It's human nature to be satisfied, if not happy, about your own life when you see someone else suffering more than you.
I remember once I told someone that my life sucks..
She: Why? You lost your limbs?
Me: No.
She: Then?
You're mentally unstable?
You don't have a place to stay?
Don't have clothes to wear?
Don't have food to eat?
Don't have friends to share?
What is it that you lack?
You should be happy that you have good health, financial, social security.
Don't crib!
Me: YessssssSir!

So I'm supposed to be happy by comparing myself with less satisfied people or those who are suffering more than me. I think the whole world follows this logic.
'Be happy because someone else is suffering more than you.'
This logic explains a lot of things that go on in our lives.
Your boss is making life hell at work, maybe he wants to see you suffer more. Hlife sucks bigtime, you see.
And how do you escape this hell?
Simple. Crib!
Pretend that your life sucks even when it doesn't. Show that your life's miserable.
"My parents got separated,"
"I'm staying alone in the city."
"I have had an accident,"
"I got dumped. Again."
You can add to this list because at some time, you have definately come across such cribbers who escape work, punishment, hell and you keep wondering "why is it that it's always I who get caught, why the f do i have to do the night shift on new year's eve or work on weekends.
Just because I'm happy and don't crib?"
EXACTLY!
You're happy. And your boss hates someone happier than him. So he wants you to suffer so much that he starts feeling better about his own shitty life.
So. Escape. Crib. A lot.

And sometimes they know they're doing it. I don't have antidote to offer for such people's venom.
It can't be helped. They'll punish you even if you're a lame, dumb, bald, beggar with leprosy and malaria!
