I saw a new ad in the paper today.. A cigarette, half burnt, and the burnt end curved, pointing downwards. And the caption saying something like smoking causes impotency!
In our country, where we're fighting poverty, unemployment, scarcity of everything (everything means everything: money, food, land, talent, brain...) because of our huge population, is it wise to ask people to save their potency by not smoking?!
I think the population issue is much much bigger than the smoking issue. And asking people to choose one is stupidity.
Is the government confused or just plain stupid?!
If one smokes, he's actually planning not to increase the population further, which is a good thing for the country. If, someday, he dies smoking, we should say, "woh maraa nahi.. woh desh ke liye shaheed ho gaya..", shouldn't we?
