My first horrible trek :-(

I travelled in the train, the ST bus, took a lift in a truck, spent the whole night awake waiting for the sun in the open, trekked for nine hours and smoked ten cigarettes only to realise that the idiot of the group, RK, didn't want to climb anymore.
I was just an hour away from the top! And now I've lost the opportunity to catch the view from the top of Harishchandragad! It wasn't like I lacked any skill or energy. I would've completed the trek gracefully, alone.
But NK's lecture didn't let me. He said, "We've come together; so we'll leave together. Neithercan we leave the weak link alone, nor can we let the strong ones triumph alone. We came in a group and so we have to stay in a group."
My whole Saturday and my Sunday got wasted. We had planned to go down mountain from the other side, which was barely a four-hour trek to reach a road. And because we didn't get down from the other side, we had to walk back for nine more hours till dark. And then got almost lost. That was not what I had set out for.
It was supposed to be a 13 to 14 hour happy trek to my dream destination, Harishchandragad. But it became what seemed like a year in hell.

PS: RK wasn't even invited. He insisted on coming. Seems like he deliberately came to ruin the trek. I'm not gonna forget this in a hurry.
